Fabulous and informative
This was a fabulous tour! Seeing the underground of the colosseum was especially eye opening. We learned so much about Ancient Rome that was just amazing. To top it off, our guide Heidi bent over backwards for us when we had an unexpected delay getting there and texted us directions on where to go to catch up with the group. Loved the City,we travelled on the hop on hop off,your bus's.The Cafe's & Una Hotel especially ,we would like to return to.The cusine & service were excellent.Also there were a daily street market, selling clothes, jewellery, fruit and veg.A wonderful athmosphere as all ladies know.We toured the Vatican, it's just magnificent,& would like to return ASAP.

Amazing early morning tour

Comprehensive history tour
I loved our small group tour. Our guide was enthusiastic and English was her native language so easy to understand. She painted a picture of what it was like during ancient Roman times. Underground Tour of the Colosseum
Had a good tour. Took some time to get into the underground (we had about a one half hour wait) Our tour began at 1:25 and we didn't go underground until 2pm so quite a bit of our time was wasted just standing outside the Colosseum waiting to go in. Tour was great, a really good amount of information given, was 24 in our group so felt the group was too big for the price we paid - approx $300 cdn. Great until we got lost
This could have been a fantastic tour of the Vatican and indeed it started out that way. Unfortunately, we got separated from our guide about half way through and, despite having attempted to text her and the agency, they felt unable to wait for or meet up with us. We actually thought we got ahead of them and waited for the group for 35+ minutes before finally hearing that, somehow, they’d gotten ahead of us and wouldn’t be waiting any longer. Big disappointment for the price paid. But the guide really was great for the time we spent with her.
